Dominican puros are rare, primarily because the climate does not make it easy to grow good wrappers. Both Fuentes--Carlos Sr. and Jr.--developed the cigar in the 1990's and each year they release a limited batch for the holidays. Each OpusX cigar sells for $40 and up.
